Don't bother switching the hall, stairs, landing and bedroom lights on to make your way to bed - keep a candle downstairs, light that and make your way up the apple alonga pears by candlelight.
Saves a right old load of electrical power AND if you remember to blow it out, let it cool a little you can also save a few pennies more by leaving the old vibrating pleaser stick in the bedside cabinet and reverting to manual with the stick o wax (which can also be moulded into interesting shapes before completely cooling). No more batteries required!
